ARMA International, the world’s leading professional association for records and information management, is excited to announce the appointment of Kim Tran as Outside Director to its Board of Directors. Tran was elected by the Board at its October 18, 2025, meeting, held prior to ARMA’s annual InfoCon conference in Phoenix, Arizona. She will serve for the remainder of the current fiscal year.
Tran is a marketing leader at the intersection of data, AI, and security, with over 15 years of experience in legal, SaaS, and digital transformation across regulated industries and the public sector. She brings to ARMA a multidisciplinary approach that blends strategic insight, storytelling, and systems thinking - qualities that have defined her contributions to the information governance community.
Currently, Tran leads Public Sector and Security Services marketing at Tines, an intelligent workflow platform advancing secure IT and AI automation for government and enterprise environments. Previously, she spearheaded the brand revitalization and go-to-market repositioning for Gimmal, a legacy records management leader, culminating in its successful acquisition by global legal consulting firm Morae.
Beyond her corporate leadership, Tran serves on the Future Skills Boards for Data + Marketing under General Assembly’s AI for All initiatives, where she helps shape practical curriculum and workforce strategies for the modern, AI-driven economy.
